In this build I take a basic, builder-grade pantry and turn it into a full-on luxury butler’s pantry—step by step, with real materials and the kind of details that actually make it feel expensive. I start by swapping in a new glass door, then move into the messy-but-important stuff like drywall work and getting the walls ready for finish. From there it’s tile time, and I walk through how I approach layout and install so it looks clean and intentional instead of “DIY in a hurry.” The big centerpiece of this project is the oak cabinetry. I build the cabinets from scratch, cover edge banding, drawer slides, hinges, and hardware, and then finish everything off with a light, modern look using a tinted finish. I also show the lighting setup with an LED strip so the space doesn’t feel like a dark closet anymore.
