This is the final video in my 3-part Christmas Card Watercolor Series, and the whole goal here is to keep things loose, relaxed, and approachable so you can enjoy the process (even if you’re brand new to watercolor). We’ll build that misty, wintry background with gentle wet-on-wet washes, keeping the edges soft and letting the pigments do their beautiful thing. Then I’ll show you how I paint a simple tree shape, deepen the greens for contrast, and finish with bright highlights to create that “glow” effect.
