This video is basically a full weekend “what I eat” while I’m cutting into a lower weight class for powerlifting, and I’m doing it with flexible dieting/IIFYM. I recently adjusted my macros and I’m telling you straight up: more carbs has me feeling amazing in training. Right now I’m aiming for 155g protein, 185g carbs, and 60g fat, and I walk you through how I plan my day so I can still live my life without pretending restaurants don’t exist. I start with my usual breakfast at like 10am: a cup of egg whites, Ezekiel sprouted grain bread (yes it’s expensive, yes I still buy it), a tiny measured amount of Tofutti “fake” cream cheese because I’m lactose as hell, and an original Vita Soy because the macros are good and it tastes bomb. Then I show you how I handle eating out—sushi—by planning ahead, checking the menu, and bringing my little takeout kit (scale, container, tablespoon) so I can stay accountable. I end the day with my prepped dinner (brown rice, beans, chicken breast), plus a high-protein meat bar snack, and I keep it real about weighing out “movie snacks” like almonds and Mini Eggs so I don’t accidentally inhale a whole family-size bag.
