Ontario finally stepped out of lockdown (literally one of the world’s longest, because they were fully yoloing it), so you already know what I did first: I went thrifting. In this video I’m doing a Toronto thrift haul that’s a little different for me because I actually try the clothes on and show you how they fit—aka the fitting rooms were closed so everything was a “yolo situation.” I pulled up at 9:30am thinking I was slick… and the line was around the building. Still worth it. I show you all my best finds, from a DoodleBob Nickelodeon tee (yes, I paid $7, take my money) to super Y2K pieces like a green collared crop, a mini skirt that actually doesn’t ride up on my butt, and a few tops that sadly do the “sits on my tit” thing. I also talk about how chaotic sizing is (small one day, large the next), why I’d rather list on Poshmark than deal with Depop/Etsy, and my obsession with men’s tees and the XL boys section. We get into rare-ish finds like a motorcycle racing jersey, Aritzia Babaton pants I wanted seasons ago, and the thickest flannel I’ve ever touched—plus I found a forest green Adidas hoodie for my boyfriend… and if it doesn’t fit him, I’m taking it.
