About This Video

Today’s video is a little different from my usual chaos (hauls, skincare, random Starbucks runs), because quarantine boredom sent me deep into scary YouTube, NoSleep, and paranormal stories. I’m a huge fan of urban legends, and I wanted to finally compile everything I know about one of the creepiest areas in the GTA: Old Finch Road behind the Toronto Zoo in Scarborough—plus the whole “tent lady” situation and the weird stuff people swear happens around that forest. I break down the stories I’ve heard from totally different people (not even friends with each other), which is what makes it extra unsettling. There’s the Joy Lake/bridge legend where people hear a little girl singing—some even claim they saw a headless silhouette holding her head. Then we get into “Tent Lady,” the tent that’s always in the same spot on a hiking trail, with reports of lights, movement, and an old raggedy woman making noises from inside. I also share a mom-co-worker’s story of seeing a woman with long black hair waving on Old Finch, plus my friend’s car being pushed backward on a flat road, and Calvin’s dirtbiking experience where the forest went dead silent and freezing. Takeaway: I fully believe there are entities out here, and that whole area just feels not right.
