Hey y’all — I made this video because I needed to educate the hell out of people about Sweet Sweat, Drip Fit, and basically any of those “wrap yourself up + rub oil everywhere” fitness products. Disclaimer: if you love it and you think it works for you, congrats, do you. I’m just explaining why people think it works, and why it’s lowkey a scam—especially for gym newbies who don’t know better yet. In the video I break down the whole “look how drenched I am” effect. You see the Stairmaster pics, the treadmill covered in “sweat,” and your brain goes, “Wow, I worked so hard.” But what’s really happening is the oil melts as your body heats up, and the band holds it in—so when you peel it off for your Snap/IG moment, it looks insane. That dripping isn’t proof you’re burning fat; at best you’re dropping a little water weight, and it can come right back with sodium, carbs, or just drinking water. If you want the same vibe for cheap, coconut oil + Saran wrap will literally do the same thing—because there’s no magic trick to losing fat.
