About This Video

In this weekly study routine vlog, I’m taking you along for a full week of how I’m studying languages (Japanese + Mandarin) and also how I’m fitting linguistics into my 2024 routine. I filmed day-by-day (Sunday through Friday), so you can see what I actually do in real time: when I read, when I write, how I rotate tasks, and how I keep things sustainable instead of trying to “grind” every single day. I also share the exact resources I’m using right now—like Japanese essay/writing materials (読むだけ小論文 基礎編 and 留学生の日本語②作文編), Mandarin input (a YouTube resource + 中国語でちょっといい話) and speaking support through Cafetalk, plus linguistics study on Coursera. And because my learning is holistic, reading is part of the system too: I mention what I’m reading in Japanese (like こころ and なぜ働いていると本が読めなくなるのか), and how I use books to keep motivation and immersion feeling natural. The big takeaway is that consistency comes from a routine you can actually live with—one that balances skills, energy, and real life.
