This video is my first proper study recap of 2025, where I walk you through everything I’ve been studying and reading so far—across Japanese, Mandarin, and a couple of Coursera courses that are feeding into my “holistic language learning” approach. I start by checking in with my yearly goals, because for me it’s not just about doing more—it’s about doing what actually moves the needle, and building a system I can repeat even when motivation dips. Then I break down my Japanese study (including the N1 reading-focused work I’ve been doing) and my Mandarin study (HSK 3 materials + HelloChinese). I also talk about what “language study in 2025” looks like for me overall—how I’m balancing immersion, structured resources, and the reality of time. After that, I share what I’m learning through my linguistics course (Human Language) and my intro psychology course, because understanding how language works and how people learn genuinely changes how I study. Finally, I wrap up with a reading recap—what I’ve been reading and how it fits into my routine and goals.
