This allows lights, blinds, heating and security automations to respond intelligently when someone is actually in the room, not just when motion is detected. In this video, I show how to set the sensor up in multiple ecosystems, including: • Apple Home using Matter • Alexa • Home Assistant • Aqara Home via the M3 hub • The Meross app Because this is Matter over Thread, you can add it directly into your preferred ecosystem without being locked into one platform. I demonstrate pairing it directly into Apple Home without using the Meross app, then adding it to Alexa, Home Assistant and Aqara using multi admin pairing. The MS605 supports three detection zones from a single sensor, allowing you to create more granular automations. It also includes a built in light sensor, adjustable absence timeout, configurable detection modes and firmware updates inside the Meross app. It runs on a CR123A battery and includes a weather resistant rubber seal in the battery compartment, giving you more flexibility for placement. The included Velcro mount allows easy positioning without relying on magnets, which could interfere with radar detection.
