About This Video

In this video I’m finally sharing our updated Maileg collection tour—mice first, then accessories, and then the bigger furniture and “houses” where everything lives. I’m filming in my daughter’s bedroom because our entire Maileg world is set up in here now, and I wanted you to really see the sizes side-by-side (different mice sizes, different tables/chairs, and which pieces feel like they fit best for certain styles of play). I walk through some of my favorite characters like our royal family, the chef, butler, maid, nurse, mom/dad, grandma/grandpa, themed mice (including Christmas), and a few of the baby-sized options—like the sleepy/wakey mouse that my daughter reaches for constantly because it’s so pocket-sized and versatile. I also show how we organize and use the accessories: tea sets, cakes and macarons (with a quick note on sizing if you have a child who still mouths toys), tiny kitchen pieces like the toaster and bread, and the fridges (including the cardboard one that’s meant to fit the Maileg castle). One of the biggest takeaways is how I mix furniture sizes on purpose to create a whimsical, storybook look—very “old-fashioned” imaginative play. I finish by showing our larger setup, including the Maileg castle (my top pick if you want one main piece), plus how I salvaged parts of a broken Magnolia house to create a beautiful backdrop and a full little mouse community in our Alice in Wonderland themed room.
