About This Video

This iPhone ad cost more than $1 million to create, so I set myself a ridiculous constraint: remake it with AI for under $10 and finish in one day. I broke the original down shot-by-shot, grabbed the first and last frames for each sequence, and mapped the whole thing in a Figma file so I had a clean roadmap. The obvious move would’ve been to use those screenshots as image prompts for near-perfect replicas—but I wanted a real control test, so I rebuilt everything from written prompts and my own references instead. From the bubble-to-vapor transformation to the A19 Pro chip render, I show the exact workflow I used: iterative image generation (Nano Banana Pro), meta prompting to rewrite my prompts for precision, and then JSON prompting when I needed maximum structure and consistency. For animation, I leaned on first/last-frame workflows where it helped, but I also show when removing constraints actually improves motion (because too much control can cause morphing). Finally, I recreated the “Apple-level” polish with AI voice, text-to-SFX, and music—then assembled it into a cohesive final spot. The big takeaway: individuals can now produce genuinely high-quality, cinematic ad work with AI alone, and it’s only getting better.
