About This Video

This video is me testing a free Google tool called Stitch that can generate professional-looking websites in minutes—and what’s really crazy is it doesn’t stop at websites. It can also create fully functional apps, complete with a design system you can tweak once and propagate across every screen. I show how you can build by typing an explicit prompt (product type, audience/industry, and layout/structure), or even by speaking to Gemini in live mode—so you’re iterating with natural language instead of clicking and dragging everything like it’s 2016. I walk through creating a generator tool for AI UI design system prompts, using vocabulary like “card-based layout,” “clean, elegant, modern,” and specific typography rules (serif titles, sans-serif body). I also show the fastest way to raise the quality bar: bring visual references from Pinterest (and Dribbble for inspiration). Then we go beyond mockups—instant prototypes, responsive previews, and exports: directly to Figma (copy/paste, absurdly seamless) and into Google AI Studio where it writes the build prompt so you can turn the design into a working coded app. The takeaway is simple: we’re moving from single assets to systems—design language, components, and workflows that scale.
