In this video, I’m talking about why more parents are DONE with the school system and why homeschooling (or at least alternatives) are exploding right now. People are paying closer attention to what their kids are learning, how much time they’re spending in a classroom, and what the school day is really designed for. I also get into the everyday stuff parents are fed up with—homework after an 8-hour day, rigid attendance rules that punish family travel, and the fact that a lot of what happens in school feels like babysitting and regurgitation instead of real thinking. I share what I’m seeing and what I personally believe is driving this shift: the overuse of technology in classrooms, the social media culture kids are being exposed to way too early, and the heavy reality of school safety and gun violence statistics. I also talk about how homeschooling has modernized—how many families outsource tutoring and use co-ops, sports, and extracurriculars to cover what school used to provide. The big takeaway is simple: parents are trying to take back time, protect their kids’ development, and make sure education is actually preparing them for real life—not just training them to sit down, comply, and tolerate a future they don’t even want.
