I made this follow-up because it feels like every time I think I’ve seen it all, there’s “something else” that shows just how broken our food system has gotten. In this video I share more proof—real clips and examples—of what’s happening to the American food supply, from bananas being ripened in ethylene gas chambers to bread that can sit for over two years without molding. When you see that kind of shelf life, you’re forced to ask the obvious question: what on earth is in our food? I also highlight the kinds of things people are waking up to: claims about coffee mold and even contaminants in ground coffee, chicken being washed in bleach, fake or cut honey, and the reality of glyphosate being sprayed on major crops—so much so that one example shows it eating into concrete. Then there’s the “added color” in farm-raised salmon and the shocking size difference between chicken breasts from a local butcher versus big-box store packs that are supposedly only “up to 5% water.” My takeaway is simple: this isn’t fear-based—it’s awareness. Read labels, pay attention to how you feel after you eat, and start building a more trustworthy food plan wherever you can.
