About This Video

What’s up everyone—Zack Seif here. In this video I’m checking out some really cool guitar cables from Audio Accessory (AA). They did send these to me, but they didn’t ask for a review—I’m making it because these are genuinely innovative cables that come in at a fraction of what a lot of the “big name” cables cost. I break down the stuff that actually matters with guitar cables: connector orientation (straight vs angled depending on the guitar), connector quality, and whether the cable is built to survive real gig life. The big standout is the construction: these AA cables are Kevlar reinforced, kink-free, more flexible than typical PVC, and designed to coil up fast without turning into a twisted mess after a bunch of shows. Spec-wise, they’re using 20 gauge 99.99% oxygen-free copper (a lot of companies do 22 gauge 99.95%), which helps lower resistance and capacitance so you lose less top end—aka higher fidelity, more of your guitar actually makes it to your rig. I A/B them against my usual Mogami Gold/Neutrik baseline using my Music Man Majesty straight into my Fractal rig, and I also test AA’s lower-profile silent/noiseless jack. The result: dead quiet, no pops when plugging/unplugging, and a super solid fit—especially for the money.
