It’s not just a screen remote anymore—now you get a built-in microphone that can record 32-bit float locally on the remote, plus GPS data for your X5. I show what’s in the box (remote base with Insta360 quick release compatibility, O-rings for different selfie stick diameters, wrist strap with a quick system, clip mount, and the wind muff with a bayonet connector), then I go into charging and pairing with the Insta360 X5. After pairing, I break down the features that actually matter in real shooting: dual-track audio, gain control from -9 dB to +9 dB, voice enhancement, and the option to keep a backup recording on the camera mic too.
