In this video I break down what Insta360+ (Insta360 Plus) really is for my workflow: not just a cloud gallery, but a cloud-based editing and backup pipeline for my cameras. Right now my X4, two X5, X4 Air, and now even the Ace Pro 2 can sync to Insta360+—and that’s a big deal because Ace Pro 2 is the first action camera I’ve used that supports Insta360 cloud. I’m already sitting at around 1.85TB uploaded in about 6–7 months, so yes, I’m pushing the 2TB plan hard. The main new feature I demo is “Moment.” It’s basically AI in the cloud that analyzes your private footage and automatically generates highlight clips with music, transitions, and the kind of angles you might have missed during capture. The key takeaway is: you don’t need a flagship phone or heavy local performance anymore—if your internet is fast, you can record, reframed, deep track, auto edit, and export directly from the cloud. At the end, I share my feature requests for Insta360: add support for Insta360 GO Ultra ASAP, add a NAS/local backup sync option (like SMB/Samba), and give us more control over Moments (rename, descriptions, thumbnails, fix wrong time/date). I also want bigger storage tiers and a GPT-style “talk to your footage” tool to pull highlights from long clips without manual editing.
