In this video I’m recording the entire review using the brand new Insta360 Link 2 Pro and the Link 2C Pro, so you can judge the real-world video and audio for yourself. This generation is redesigned inside out, and I’m honestly impressed—especially by the bigger 1/1.3-inch sensor, the face-detection autofocus (fast, responsive, and sharp), and the dual native ISO that really helps in low light. I also walk through the Link Controller interface, scene presets, and how I fine-tune image quality for a more “cinematic” look by lowering contrast and sharpness and doing the final punch in post. Audio is a huge part of this review. Insta360 rebuilt the mic system with two mics plus beamforming, and I demo the different pickup patterns (standard, wide, and focus) so you can hear how it handles background noise—almost like having a small shotgun mic built in. Then I get into the upgraded AI tracking features: tracking area (so the camera only tracks inside your safe zone) and pause tracking (up to six zones where tracking naturally pauses), which is super useful for product demos and live streaming.
