In this video I’m unboxing a WISE diving watch that my buddy Craig dropped off, so it’s more of a “random Rob Tour watch unboxing of sorts” than a brand-new sealed package. I didn’t remember the exact model name at first, but once I got it out, it was immediately clear this is part of WISE’s Sapphire Crystal Diving Series: stainless steel, 300 meters of water resistance, and an automatic movement. The first thing that hit me was the size and the weight—this thing is a little bigger and definitely heavier than I expected, which makes sense with that 300m rating. Craig had it on a multi-color strap setup, and I’m pretty sure it’s FKM rubber. It feels really good, it’s contoured, and it fits the case well—if you’ve never tried FKM rubber, I still say do yourself a favor and grab one. I also noticed an interesting quick-release design with a little relief/rotation so it doesn’t poke your wrist like some quick-release setups can (Zelos bracelets come to mind). I talk through the shrouded bezel feel (a bit tricky to grip in the normal way), show off the sunburst dial with some dome distortion, and then do a quick size comparison against my SKX. By the end I even notice there’s a small date window down around the bottom, and I tease an upcoming comparison with the WISE Hitman once that one shows up too.
