About This Video

In this video I compare two WISE watches side by side: the WISE Hitman in my left hand and the WISE Diving in my right. Pricing-wise, the Hitman is $325 and the Diving is $385 in this configuration (and the Diving jumps to about $455 on bracelet). If you’re choosing between them, I see the Hitman as more of an everyday watch, while the Diving feels like a Friday evening/weekend piece—more of a fun, chunky tool watch. I go through the specs and how they wear. The Hitman comes in at 48.7mm lug-to-lug, 41mm case diameter, 12.4mm thick, 20mm lugs tapering to 16mm, and it’s on a bracelet with solid end links, solid links, and a milled clasp (with one stamped section). The Diving is bigger at 51.8mm lug-to-lug, 44mm case/shroud ring, 15.6mm thick, 22mm lugs, and it’s rated to 300m—so it’s built like it. Both run the Seiko NH35, and I also show the lume: C3 Super-LumiNova on the Diving is noticeably brighter than the Hitman’s BGW9. Bottom line: if you’re a lume junkie, go Diving; if you want cleaner styling (my preference), go Hitman.
