We got our first little snowstorm of the season, picked up a couple sleds, and embraced this BEAUTIFUL winter weather! At first, we were pretty worried that living in a tiny house with a toddler through an upstate New York winter would be too challenging, but it has turned out to be an incredible experience so far. The shipping containers are the perfect little cocoon, the mini splits are keeping us warm, and all that insulation we installed has paid of big time! There are a couple more daily chores, like cleaning the solar panels every time it snows, and we've had to move our water jugs inside because they keep freezing, but the snow also brings so much more light and energy into life, plus plenty of giggles racing down the hill with Max.
