We Got 57 Baby Chicks... now what?

If you’d like to open your own online shop or create a website, go to https://www.squarespace.com/wildweroam for 10% off your first purchase. this week we add 57 baby ranger chicks to our little farming operation, and its an incredibly exciting week on the land. but, before that, we have to build a little brooder for them to stay warm in. apparently they like to be kept at 95 fahrenheit for the first week, which will be a bit of a challenge since its currently 35 outside, and we don't have unlimited electricity to run heat lamps with! Lou loves a good challenge though, so he built an insulated little brooder on wheels that's mobile, possible to heat with limited electricity, and seems to be predator proof so far! they are outgrowing it quickly though, so the next build is around the corner already!
