Learning to sail is an on-going process for Lou and me and one that will definitely take more than a season to master, but I still find it astounding how far we've come in less than 20 sails on our first sailboat - a 1976 Hallberg Rassy Rasmus 35. We're learning how to trim the sails, maneuver through a harbor, try out different points of sail, and then just when we feel like we've got the hang of things, it's time to switch it up and trade jobs. I'm so happy that we didn't rush to the traveling portion of boat life, and instead, chose to move a little slower, enjoy life on the mooring, so that we could focus on gaining some much-needed skills. We might not be pros, but I think we're slowly getting the hang of this whole sailing thing. Either way, boat life has stolen our hearts and we are so thrilled that we decided to buy a boat with no experience because it gives us plenty of room for improvement along the way! Hope you enjoy this one! Big hugs, Dana ....................................................... Want to Support Us?
