A Simple Day in the Life

Enjoying the simple moments in life has always been something that Lou and I strive to do. To be present in the kitchen when we’re making a meal or enjoy a hike together, but getting a puppy has helped us throw ourselves into the present moment more than I could have ever expected. I think it’s because that’s where she lives entirely. There’s no overthinking things or worrying about the past with dogs. They’re just there. And it’s been a really beautiful energy to be around and pushed us to grow both individually and as a couple in the best way. I feel like this video really captures the magic of the life we’re building right now and I am so happy we have it for our memories. Just watching it now (I think we filmed this two weeks ago) and Freja’s already grown so much. She looks like such a little nugget and now she’s already 18 pounds!
