It is so wild to think about us in our tiny NYC apartment, in our early 20s with jobs we weren't happy with, dreaming of working together, creating together, and living life on our terms. Seeing all the archival footage of the different adventures we've had over the last few years really made my heart to full. I remember how nervous I was starting out the Inktober challenge. Even sharing my drawings on this channel had my stomach in knots. But now I am so much more comfortable knowing that being the best at something isn't a pre-requisite to enjoying something. In fact, focusing on the outcome of creativity steals so much of the joy for me. Instead of putting my energy towards the creative process, how I feel during and after carving out some time for myself, that is what makes me happy, not critiquing whatever I made.
