Escaping Reality for a Night | Big Bear Solo Camp

Sometimes you just need to disappear for a night and reset. This trip took me up to Big Bear to camp at a Yellow Post site — no crowds, no noise, just peace, trees, and time to slow down. I explored a new trail, found a new camp spot, and settled in for a quiet night surrounded by nature. Dinner was simple and perfect — a steak cooked on the Tembo Tusk, a warm cocktail in hand, and a big fire nearby as the forest went quiet for the night. The next morning was slow and intentional. Eggs on the stove, coffee brewing, and time spent relaxing in the hammock listening to birds chirp as the day woke up around camp. No rush. No agenda. Just being present and enjoying the moment.
