Hey friends—this video is a full-on “shop or drop” rating session of new perfume releases (plus one oldie that’s suddenly new again), mostly around what I picked up during the recent Sephora sale. I tested a bunch of travel sprays, a couple full sizes, and a few decants, and I’m giving you my real talk thoughts: what’s worth your money, what’s a hard pass, and what surprised me. I’m also paying attention to the stuff that matters in real life—projection, longevity, and whether the notes actually harmonize or just argue the whole time. My biggest winners are Henry Rose Ripe (fresh, juicy watermelon with an airy, musky woods vibe that apparently projects way more than I thought) and Lumiere Day (a warm, comforting floral-amber that gives me that “mother’s hug in a bottle” feeling, with a quirky bottle I actually enjoy). I also give a big thumbs up to Sunset in Tamarindo by The World of Chris Collins for being chic, sophisticated, and tropical in a unique, not-coconutty way. And yes, there are some nos: Maison Margiela Up at Dawn went too dirty/patchouli-woody for what I wanted, Palm Oasis didn’t come together for me, and Unique’e Luxury D’olcezza was straight-up chaotic. I also tried Cry Baby—confusing at first, but the dry down made me get the hype.
