I made this with a lot of love and care, because I don’t want you to lose faith in spirituality just because you met someone who used it as a mask. I share my experiences and the kind of inner red flags I’ve learned to notice—especially in relationships, communities, and teacher-student dynamics. For me, real spirituality is not performance; it’s practice. It shows up in how someone treats people when no one is watching, how they handle power, how they respond to discomfort, and whether their presence makes you more free or more dependent.
