This is part two of my Japan haul, and it’s mostly makeup + haircare (I literally filmed an IG reel right before this, so I’m in a full face). I went a little crazy in the mascara aisle because if you’ve followed me for a while, you know I really highly advocate for Heroine Make—especially their Volume & Curl Mascara. Just remember it’s super, super hard to remove, so I either go in with an oil-based cleanser/cleansing balm, or I use their dedicated Mascara Remover (which saved me on the trip because I didn’t pack any removal products). I also grabbed lash serums from Heroine Make and Majolica Majorca even though I don’t typically believe in lash serums—curiosity won. On the lip side, Japan’s tinted lip balms are honestly top tier. I’m really into sheer red lately because it brightens up my complexion and is the easiest “mascara + tinted balm” combo for everyday. I also picked up Excel lippies (inspired by a recommendation from Claire Lase) and a new brow pencil because my current ones are… ancient. For cheeks, I chose Canmake Cream Cheeks because as a working adult (and to-be mama), cream products look the most natural and I can just apply with my fingers. For hair, I stocked up on the Tamaris Hair Rescue Home Clinic Essence because it makes my hair feel glossy and hydrated, plus it smells so good. And I got a few flyaway-taming essentials like the &honey Matomake Stick and the iconic Kracie styling sticks—because when baby comes, I need quick fixes that actually work.
