Iron Goat to Pure O – MTB Hawes, AZ [FTR Series]

Iron Goat and Pure O are excellent MTB downhill jump lines located at Hawes in Mesa, Arizona. Both have optional features/lines sure to challenge intermediate and advanced riders. Iron Goat https://www.trailforks.com/trails/iron-goat/ Iron Spine https://www.trailforks.com/trails/iron-spine/ Pure O https://www.trailforks.com/trails/pure-o/ TRAIL DETAIL: Iron Goat is mostly downhill flow with a small climb at the end which will lead you to Pure O. There are optional trail side kickers and jumps throughout. If you are feeling extra spicy and enjoy tech consider adding Iron Spine. It will reconnect back into the main trail. Pure O is an infamous trail at Hawes. It is fairly steep in a few sections and is filled with optional drops, jumps and kickers. The two standout features are the Tree Gap and the massive gap jump at the very end that leads to an equally scary step up. While the trail is labeled “black” on Trailforks some of the optional features are definitely “double black” so please proceed with caution and make sure to look at everything before you send it.
