Knife guard slotting and fitting 101

In this video I will go over my process of slotting a knife guard in detail. Then we will go over the fit-up process with hot fitting using a propane torch to heat the 416 stainless guard to 500 degrees fahrenheit and hammering it in to place to create an impression created by the shoulders on the knife tang.
