A SERPENT appeared inside the steel

In this video I will be continuing to work on a mosaic Damascus billet for a couple projects. It will be a serpent Damascus pattern. First, I mark the billet into tiles and cut them out. Then they are tacked down to a piece of sheet metal and surface ground. After surface grinding the other piece of sheet metal is added and then the whole billet is sealed via tig fusion. The billet goes into the forge and gets three forge weld passes. After forge welding, the sheet metal is stripped away with a cold chisel, and the billet is cleaned over on the belt grinder. Then I do a test etch to reveal the pattern before I proceed to the next step.
