Forging a Full Tang Feather Damascus Knife with Integral Bolsters Part 2

In this video, Part 2 of making an integral feather Damascus knife with forge welded bolsters, I will profile the bolsters and mill the back ends to square them. Then I heat treat and temper the blade and clean it up. Afterwards, the blade is ground and hand sanded. Handles are shaped and held onto the tang with temporary pins. Once the handles are shaped they are cleaned and prepped for glue up. The logo is etched into the blade; the blade is etched to reveal the pattern then the handles are glued and pinned onto the tang.
