This year I wanted to do something a little extra for the woman who’s done everything for me, so I planned a cozy little girls weekend in Atlanta with my mom for an early Mother’s Day. We stayed two nights at the Shane Kimpton Hotel in Midtown, and it honestly made the whole trip feel so special—super vibey, artsy, and chill, with that perfect balance where you can actually relax but still feel like you’re in a moment. We kicked things off heading to The Betty for their Mother’s Day brunch (and yes… bottomless mimosas for $20 on weekends). They also had a DIY bouquet situation from their flower cart, which is such a cute touch if you’re doing Mother’s Day plans in the city. After brunch, we took MARTA to Lenox Mall and I’m not even gonna lie—it was really easy. You just buy a ticket, take two stops, and you’re basically right there, which made the whole day feel low-stress. We did an outfit change because it got chilly (no more sundresses, just comfy), walked around, and I grabbed the cutest little ballet flats from Michael Kors. Then we wrapped up with dinner at an Ethiopian restaurant, and the next morning I did simple skincare only because I had long travel ahead (NYC, then Paris). The view from our 10th floor room was unreal, and I’m so happy I got to introduce my mom to one of her new favorite Atlanta hotels.
