In this pack & prep vlog, I’m getting ready to head to the Caribbean (Sint Maarten) and it’s giving full beauty maintenance week. It’s gloomy, it’s Sunday, and I’m coming off my carnivore challenge where I lost 5 lbs—so I’m like… okay cute, because on Saturday we’re literally going to be on a beach in a bikini. I link up for matcha (I’m not even a matcha person, it’s very earthy to me), and then the rest of the week is all about getting my life together: workouts, hair, nails, toes, and packing. I tried my first OrangeTheory class at 6:15 a.m. and I actually loved it—the coach, the music, the whole environment was so motivating, especially if you hate working out alone. Then it’s hair day: I do French curl knotless braids because I like that they stay skinny and don’t feel heavy on my head (the weight of braids is my biggest issue). After that, I start laying out outfits, bikinis, bags, and my electronics bag, plus little travel extras like my blue light glasses because I’m editing like crazy on this trip. I also talk about getting to the airport super early (Atlanta lines are no joke), bringing a “safe” ring instead of my real one, and my favorite little flex—landing in St. Martin and going to the resident line while everybody’s in the tourist line. Then we finally arrive and it’s time to unpack and get settled.
