But this trip felt like a big accomplishment—getting out of my bubble for an influencer event with panelists, activations, and a fashion show. I also did my hair the night before because I wasn’t about to show up with curls or a blowout that wouldn’t last. I tested the Fenty Hair wash products (travel sizes) and I loved how juicy my hair felt and especially how good it smelled. Then I went in with got2b glue and braiding hair to create a braid + swoop moment inspired by my Pinterest board—like, even if it didn’t match the photo exactly, I knew it was still going to eat. After packing my whole life into a bag (electronics, jewelry, makeup, boots, Uggs—the whole situation), I traveled, hit NYFW backstage/VIP moments, and wrapped it up with a snowy Brooklyn morning before heading back to Atlanta.
