This vlog is basically me surviving a truly chaotic travel day—like 36–40+ hours of getting from Toulouse to Atlanta (with Istanbul in the middle) and trying to keep it cute while doing it. I start the day with my “I woke up like this” blowout (nice and silky, obviously) and we’re running through airports, overpriced sandwiches, and freezing weather the second we touch down. Once we get to Atlanta, we drop our bags and try to kill time before check-in, and I’m also thinking about finally getting my MacBook battery situation handled because it’s been screaming at me for a while. The highlight is checking into the Coca-Cola Santa Suite at the Kimpton Shane—no because this room had character. The whole hotel is Christmas-themed, there’s a winter chalet vibe in the lobby, and the suite had sweet treats, fresh fruit, robes, a massive bathroom, and the coziest “hot chocolate + movie night” energy. The next morning I do my simple travel skincare, a quick makeup routine, and I answer some of your community questions about guilt when traveling, what makes me feel alive, skills I want to learn, and my bucket list destinations. We film a little content, grab Chipotle (10/10, even though they forgot my beans at first), and do the hotel’s winter “snowshed” experience with cute mocktails and appetizers. And then… we do what tired girls do: we cancel extra plans and choose rest.
