The Rodecaster Video runs my whole studio—period. I’m talking four computers, six cameras, multiple angles, and I’m using every port on the box. In this video I break down why I’m running two Rodecaster Videos in unison (USB-C from one to the other), how I’m routing all the HDMI outs into an 8x8 matrix switcher for my monitors, and the exact audio chain I’m using so you can understand where sync issues can creep in. Then I get straight to the fix. If your Rodecaster Video audio is out of sync, the fastest solution is inside the RØDE software: go to your audio mixer input and adjust the “Audio Delay” by frames. Out of the box it can be around 3–4 frames, but because my chain already has processing latency, I run mine at 1 frame—and I had to test it a few times to lock it in. And if you’re already in post, I also show you the manual method in DaVinci Resolve: unlink clips and slide audio until it matches, then normalize to keep levels consistent. My goal is simple—get you back to recording clean, professional audio without fighting sync every time.
