About This Video

I hate Notion… but somehow it reeled me in, and in this video I walk you through exactly why I’m still using it daily. For the longest time, Airtable handled my data insights and financial tracking, and ClickUp was (and still is) my ride-or-die for daily task management and project tracking. But I wanted my CRM-ish stuff—client directory, lead pipeline, quick documentation—in one private space that I can customize and view at a glance. Notion is giving me that “bird’s eye view” clarity I wasn’t getting the way I wanted elsewhere. I show you my Notion dashboard setup (still a work in progress): databases for my client directory, onboarding, and future cash flow tracking, plus quick tasks, reminders, and even scripture that keeps me grounded in this season. The client directory includes everything from website URLs to addresses, plus fields like “created date” and “touched” so I can see when a record was created and when I last updated it. I also explain how I’m linking onboarding pages back to each client so I can jump between details in one click. Finally, I break down the automation flow I’m building: Moxie triggers when an agreement is signed, then I send a welcome text, a Slack notification, and add the client into my onboarding database. I’m testing this whole Notion evolution for a couple weeks—because tech junkie—and I’ll adjust as I go.
