About This Video

In this uncut SuiteDash 101 walkthrough, I’m showing the full client experience for a tax return buildout—from the Communication Agreement stage all the way through approval, invoicing, and “next steps.” I keep one side as the admin backend so you can see how I’m moving people through stages (and how you can manually adjust a client if they land in the wrong place). The big thing to understand is that each step is connected to circles/audiences, and I’m using a simple “designate the process” form to drop a client into the right circle (like 1040) and the correct starting stage. From the client view, they’re clicking through signed agreements, paying the deposit via checkout, and completing a two-part 1040 organizer. Once that organizer is submitted, I trigger a project generator that creates the internal task list (the real backend magic). As my team and I mark tasks complete, the client sees progress updates, and I can trigger dynamic emails—plus keep communication organized inside the project using Client Talk (with Convenience Mode if you want them replying straight from email). I also show the approval stage where I can embed a Loom/Vimeo-style video, add links for reviewing the return, scheduling a call, and initiating the final invoice—then move them into filing and a clean wrap-up stage that can reset them for the next tax cycle.
