About This Video

Oh SuiteDash, how I love you. In this SuiteDash 101: Office walkthrough, I’m taking you into the part of SuiteDash where the money and the important documentation live—Invoices, Expenses, Estimates, Proposals, Payments, Gateways, and Documents. I show you how standalone invoices can be tied to a client, customer, or even a Circle (yes, you can invoice multiple people at once), how I build line items (including images), apply discounts/taxes, and why placeholders matter for keeping things dynamic but still branded. I also call out a big heads-up: SuiteDash is actively changing the subscriptions/plans setup, so what you see today may shift soon—go watch Mike’s update if you want the “what’s next” view. From there I break down Expenses (one-time or recurring, with PO support), Estimates (static vs “offer choice” dynamic estimates—my favorite because clients can choose what they want), and Proposals (gorgeous layouts, option blocks, widgets, notifications, and templates). I also get real about the template library: it’s beautiful, but sometimes you’ll need a little HTML/CSS finagling to fully customize colors. Finally, I cover invoice generators (on-demand, recurring, accumulating), reporting limitations (export to CSV is your friend), gateway setup (Stripe, Authorize.net, Braintree, PayPal, etc.), and Documents—especially the power-up that lets clients sign without logging in. The big takeaway: the Office toolkit is where automation + ops get real, and SuiteDash gives you a ton of levers to make it run on autopilot.
