One of the most popular running races in Scotland, attracting 34,000 runners, the AJ Bell Great Scottish Run passes some of the cities most well known landmarks. The Half Marathon route starts by George Square at the heart of the city and takes a scenic journey out to Glasgow's largest park... Pollok Country Park, home to the world famous Burrell Collection. We get to cross one of the busiest road bridges in Europe, the Kingston Bridge, as well as the striking Clyde Arc, locally known as the Squinty Bridge. The end is in Glasgow Green where runners are cheered in by crowds expected to reach 100,000. #halfmarathon #running #vlog Enter next year's event; https://www.greatrun.org/events/great-scottish-run/ See the full route on Strava: https://strava.app.link/1zMO4fy8gXb Follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/the_random_runner?igsh=MXFjazBxdDAxNjg5Zg==
