This is my BIGGEST solo challenge EVER! Running over 100 MILES in a single, non-stop push along Scotland's dramatic West Coast. To make it a true point-to-point adventure, I relied completely on public transport and connected a couple of incredible Scottish trails 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 The Route & Logistics: The Start: Took the train from Glasgow down to Stranraer. Connecting the Trails: Ran the Loch Ryan Coastal Path to get out of Stranraer and link up with the official start of the Ayrshire Coastal Path at Glenapp. The Challenge: Pushing through the darkness and running entirely through the night to cover the 170km distance solo. The Finish: Arrived at Wemyss Bay and caught the train back to Glasgow. If you're looking for a serious Scottish ultra-running challenge, this coastal route has it all: sandy beaches, clifftop trails, technical terrain, and some incredible sunsets. Drop a comment if you have any questions about the route, the logistics, or the gear I used to survive the night shift!
