You've heard of the West Highland Way... Well let me introduce to you the West Island Way! Off the west coast of Scotland on the island of Bute, the WIW is around 50km although because I would start and finish in the main town of Rothesay, my day would be around 70km. A truly varied route of wide farm track, technical coastline and boggy moorland. It was another spectacular day, although whilst the sun was shining, the air temperature was only a few degrees with a minus windchill. https://strava.app.link/DV7djsnkuIb https://www.scotlandsgreattrails.com/trail/west-island-way/
