Quilt Nation! I know it’s been a minute, but I’m still alive—and in this video I’m giving you a look at what I’ve been working on as we get close to cruise time. We’re about a month out, and I’ll be teaching my quilt, “Our Flag Stands for Freedom,” on the cruise. I’m genuinely excited about this one because it’s bold, patriotic, and it just hits different when you’re building it piece by piece. I walk you through where I’m at in the process and what’s been on my mind as I put it together. And if you know me, you already know I didn’t leave the pattern alone—I modified it to make it just a little bit bigger. That’s one of my biggest takeaways for you: don’t be afraid to adjust a project so it fits your vision, your space, and your goals. This quilt is coming together in a way I’m really liking, and I’m looking forward to teaching it and sewing alongside y’all.
