Hello Quilt Nation! This one is Day 2 of our road trip to Minot for the Prairie Quilt Festival, and I’m bringing you along for the travel day where we finally make it to the destination. If you’ve ever hauled quilts, tools, and all the “just in case” supplies across state lines, you already know it’s part adventure and part logistics—and I like showing the real-world side of getting to events, not just the pretty finished quilts. Even though this episode is more travel-focused, it’s still quilting life through and through: planning ahead, keeping your must-have gear close, and staying ready for classes, vendor halls, and community time once you roll into town. If you’re new to quilt festivals, this is a good peek at what the pace looks like and how I think about preparing for a multi-day event. And if you’re a seasoned road warrior, you’ll probably nod along—because getting there is half the mission.
