About This Video

Hello Quilt Nation! In this update I’m checking in on my Crumb Piece Punisher quilt, and I’m happy with how it’s coming together. The big milestone is the skull—it's done. Now the real work is making the surrounding fabric choices do their job so that skull pops the way it’s supposed to. This is one of those projects where contrast and value are everything, and I’m taking my time so the design reads clean from across the room. I also talk through my process mindset on builds like this: I don’t rush the “background” because the background is what makes the focal point hit hard. If you’re following along as a beginner, this is a good example of how you can use what you’ve got (crumbs and scraps) but still be intentional—especially when you’re trying to get a bold graphic look. If you want to support the channel and see what I’m using, I’ve got my store and Amazon shop linked, and you can always reach out if you’ve got questions on the build.
