Ok, I'm being a bit ironic and stating the obvious, but the budget shows (in my opinion) just how clueless politicians are about property, property investing and the property market. Some have described the budget as the Labour government declaring war on buy to let, but I'd have thought we are well past that stage. To be fair, George Osborne (Conservative) declared war for the government almost 10 years ago. Anyway, what the budget showed me is that politicians have no idea about how the property market works, and as ever ideology overtakes common sense.
