ChatGPT Images 2.0 is here, and in this video, I test it against the standard many people have been using: Nano Banana in Gemini. I put the new ChatGPT image generator through detailed prompt tests covering text rendering, YouTube thumbnails, AI governance infographics, product campaign mock-ups, character consistency, storyboards, image editing, photorealism, impossible objects, reflections, refraction, hands, typography and abstract visual ideas. The big question is simple: Is ChatGPT Images 2.0 now the best AI image generator? I start with practical business prompts, including a YouTube poster, an AI governance gap infographic, a fictional product campaign called Briefly, and a storyboard for an AI usage map. Then I push the model harder with difficult image generation tests: realistic watches, diverse professors, bobblehead image editing, glass refraction, complex hands, a Penrose triangle, film poster typography, animals in reflections, silk and rust textures, Kodachrome Tokyo samurai scenes, ink splashes, layered portraits and abstract mood prompts.
