In this video, I’m giving you a full look at our Standard 5th Sleeper room at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort—specifically Alligator Bayou, Building 34, Room 3419. What makes this room such a big deal (especially for Disney families) is that it’s the most affordable option on Disney property that sleeps five people. If you’re a family of five and you want to stay on-site without paying for a suite, this is such a solid choice—and the resort itself feels so cozy and charming, like a little bayou hideaway. I walk you through everything from the entrance setup and storage to the two queen beds (with amazing under-bed suitcase space) and the highlight: the pull-down twin bed with the cutest Princess and the Frog mural. James loved that little bed, and we even requested a bed rail—Disney provided it when we called. I also show the beverage cooler setup (not a full fridge), the separated bathroom area with the themed curtain, the double vanity, closet storage, and the tub/shower area. Plus, I share little details I personally love—like the “Welcome” screen, plenty of outlets/USB ports, and the extra moderate-resort amenities that make getting ready with kids way easier.
